UNIVAL's HxScan reads history data from scanned paper forms and imports it directly into your EMR as discrete data elements. You can choose from our standard list of history forms, or we'll develop a customized form that exactly fits your needs. Starting with pre-printed forms, or forms that you have printed on-site, have your patient fill out the form as usual. Instead of keying that information in, simply scan it using UNIVAL's HxScan system and instantly update the history data fields for that patient's record in your EMR!

HxScan™ for Practice Management

Start capturing patient history information as discrete data elements immediately in a patient database that is linked to your PM system. HxPortal™

For an online option, UNIVAL has HxPortal, a secure web portal that patients can use prior to their appointment to complete or update their history information online. Similar to HxKiosk, we will work with you as needed to develop a customized form and user interface, or you may select from one of our many standard forms and user interfaces. Once the user clicks "submit", their data is instantly updated to the correct history fields in your EMR. Again, this paperless solution is completely automated after the patient submits the form saving additional time! Totally HIPAA compliant!

HxPortal can be interfaced with any patient portal, to import the history data directly to the EMR.
