UNIVAL is an industry leader
in out-sourced provider site credentialing support services. UNIVAL provides a
comprehensive range of services from Site Credentialing Support Services to
HEDIS Data Collection, Medical Record Abstraction and Pursuit Services to
Quality and Disease Management Studies.
Before being assigned a site
visit, UNIVAL’s comprehensive, national network of field personnel must pass
stringent recruitment and training protocols. Candidates that have NCQA/HEDIS
background, 3 or more years of clinical experience, and/or utilization review
or managed care experience are considered for staff in the field. Once
selected, UNIVAL field staff are provided with comprehensive training and
support to ensure that reviews are completed according to your quality
standards and ours. UNIVAL’s Regional Project Administrators act as liaisons
between you and our field staff to promote a single point of contact, easing your
administrative burden.
The best possible
independent reviews are delivered to customers through a multi-tiered Quality
Assurance Program. Quality checks are in place to ensure the best possible end
results. UNIVAL obtains all pertinent information before scheduling takes
place, through prompt and courteous communication with the provider sites and
client. Tools are quality checked before delivery of the end product and the
total process is ensured to be completed on time.
HEDIS Data Collection and Consultation Services
Your NCQA Accreditation
efforts and quality improvement initiatives are upheld. through UNIVAL’s
superior data collection, medical record abstraction and pursuit services. The
importance of HEDIS reporting is understood and UNIVAL has software systems
designed to support collecting, managing and reporting HEDIS measures which
enable you to track the project from start to finish. UNIVAL’s Project
Managers administer over-reading, random audits and regular Inter-Rater
Reliability studies to ensure data is abstracted accurately and according to
Plan specifications.
As medical records are
abstracted, UNIVAL captures the data in our HEDIS Data Management System
(HDMS). HDMS tracks the record collection process and generates reports detailing
the status of each project’s total records received, percent completion, number
of incomplete records, secondary provider status and other vital information.
With HDMS, UNIVAL’s clients know the exact status of their data collection
projects throughout the entire process.
In addition to HEDIS data collection, UNIVAL has expertise in:
- Design of Data Collection Tools
- Development of Training Manuals
- Training of Nurse Abstractors
- Administration of Inter-Rater Reliability Studies
- Additional Record Abstraction
- Data Entry Services
- Consultation, Evaluation, and Analysis of HEDIS Data
UNIVAL can administer your
HEDIS activities in total or by specific activity. Select the services that
work best for you.
UNIVAL’s core values are that quality and service matter.
When it comes to HEDIS initiatives – experience the UNIVAL difference!
